What to Sell Wednesday: Fall Decor

Hey everyone! Fall is in the air! This is by far my favorite season! It's so colorful, and cool, we get to bring out the sweaters, and boots! My favorite part would definitely have to be the baking and sweets!! Or.. No.. The FOURTH QUARTER!! EBay's #1 selling time of the year! Everyone's online for holiday shopping! Here's a few things that sold this week for BIG money!

A lot of 1,000+ fall leaves.. I'm thinking easy money! Check it out HERE. They sold for $295.99 +almost $90 for shipping! CRAZY!

Here's a lot of FIVE pumpkins! Grown in KENTUCKY! They sold for $125 +shipping! WOW! Check it out HERE.

**Update** Reader Marci let me know these are NOT real pumpkins! That title they used is deceiving if you're like me and don't know what "faux" means! They look so real!

Some crazy prices for some easy to get items! I guess people will pay for anything! Let me know in the comments below if you like my new post!
Thanks for reading!

Sales Update 9/11-9/17

Hey everyone! I'm back with a quick sales update! I have had 5 sales since my last post.. Just 5. And TWO buyers haven't even paid! What's the deal! I guess it's because eBay has been down A LOT this past week.. Who knows. Whatever it is though, it needs to stop! Fourth quarter is here and sales should be going strong!

Here's the 3 items I've sold this week that have been shipped out!

This microwave plate sold for $14.95 +Shipping.

This Cracker Barrel coffee mug sold on sale for $7.46 +shipping.

These Eastland shoes for a best offer of $6 +shipping. I definitely could've gotten more. I don't know what I was thinking.

That's all for this week! Horrible sales week. I need to get listing before I leave for Michigan Sunday! Hopefully I'll have some better sales this weekend..
Hope you all are doing well!

Quick Sales Update 8/25-9/10

Hey everyone! I'm back with a quick sales update! I'm so sorry my posting has been so sporadic. I have been so busy with college and ebay lately.. I'm also fixing to go to Michigan for a week! Lots going on... I'm going to try and get you all caught up though!

Here's what I've sold since my last post:

I paid $0.25 for this Daytona cap. It sold for $9.95 +shipping to a company that buys U.S. sellers items, and ships them overseas. I thought that was pretty neat.

Here's a case where Walmart items sell! This denim jacket is Faded Glory, and it ended up selling for $14.95 +shipping.

These boots were my sisters, but they were too big. They sold for $19.95 +shipping. After selling, I saw the same pair for $39.95... Oh well.

I bought this sealed Pit game at Goodwill for $0.50. It sold for $19.95 +shipping.

This cross stitch kit sold within a few minutes for $20.95 +free shipping. I bought this one for $6, but I still made a little.

I picked up this Starbucks travel mug for $0.25 and it finally sold the other day for $15.95 +free shipping.

Another ornament sale! This one sold for $16.99 +free shipping. I figured that each ornament cost me approximately $0.64 each. I've made a killing! I'll try and figure up total sales on all my ornaments soon.

Here's another Walmart item! This really makes me think I need to go shop the clearance racks at Walmart, and try and find character specific pieces.. Does anyone else do that??

This Hello Kitty dress sold for $19.95 +free shipping.

Here's my vintage Jansport backpack! It sold for $20.45 at auction +shipping.

Lastly, we have a bar of soap that Derek picked up for $0.50. It sold at auction for $12.10 +free shipping. The lady that bought it even asked if I had anymore! Definitely a BOLO!

I've been selling a lot on the weekends, and  practically nothing through the week.. I'm trying to list my inventory and get ready for the holiday rush! How about you all? How's sales?

Also! Another quick question. Are the new selling standards affecting any of you? I've heard a lot of sellers saying their accounts have been shut down completely. I have lost my top rated seller status, by 0.92%. I'm trying hard to get it back up and praying I stay above that 5% line!

Thanks for reading everyone!
Have a great rest of the week!!

Derek and Moms Goodwill Haul!

I absolutely LOVE that Derek drives by Goodwill every single day.. It definitely comes in handy! He's stopped 4 or 5 times now, and has always found something to sell on eBay! This is GREAT for me since I'm so tied down with school, and don't have the time to get out and go thrifting!
Here's what all he's picked up this week and last.

He picked up these poker chips for $3. They're bid up to $30.99 plus shipping right now! 2 hours left!

These two Avon french clown perfume bottles. They sell for about $16. If they don't sell, we have a friend at church that has a HUGE collection of perfume bottles that I'm sure would LOVE these!

He paid $0.50 for this relish dish. It's listed at around $30 +free shipping.

He found this vintage leather illustrated Bible. There's not one like it on eBay, so I'm curious how this one will do. It's from 1952.

He also picked up two microwave plates for $1 each, a HUGE metal poker chip case for $8 (selling for $50+ on eBay!), and 4 tall glasses that go for $40 EACH!
He's getting good at finding stuff to sell on eBay!

My mom went to the Goodwill in Cookeville, TN yesterday and came home with a bag full of goodies. She spent $32 and I should make $200 at the least.. Probably more. We'll just have to see how the auctions go.

Here's what she picked up.

This Vervaco latch hook kit for $2. They sell anywhere from $35-$200 each. This one is BRAND NEW! There's not a similar one on eBay.

This pony bead banner kit $2. One other is listed for $40, but it's not this pattern. Fingers crossed!

I always pick up Gold Collection cross stitch kits. This one was $6, but it sells for around $25-$30.

This kit was also $6 but it sells for $100! HUGE score there!

Here's another one of the Vervaco latch hook kits. It's brand new as well. Another $50-$200! Cha-CHING!

I always have her pick up shower curtain hooks. These were $1 a set. Easy $10-$20 each!

That's all for this post! I can't wait til I can get back out and go yardsaling again! Hopefully this weekend...

Thanks for reading everyone!

School, Quick Question, and A Sales Update! 8/18-8/24

Hey everyone! I'm back! So much has been going on lately that I haven't been able to take a blogging break! High school and college have taken up most of my time this week, along with our church camp trip this weekend!

I'm taking English 101 and Psychology. Already in English we had to write 4 paper, short answer things, and take two quizzes. They were due last night. So that's why I'm a little late posting.. We went to camp Friday and came back Saturday evening, so I tried to get everything done at the last minute yesterday! I hope I got an A on my papers!

Sales have been BOOMING! I did list a few things last week, and took a million pictures, but I didn't get close to my goal. I'm going to try and use the rest of my free listings this week. There's no use in paying for my store subscription and150 free listings if I don't use them all!

This week (8/18-8/24) I sold a total of 15 items (I've had one sale today so far! But I'll mention that next week!)
Total sales amount (before fees and shipping costs): $205.75
I really wish I could get my weekly sales up to about $500 a week. Maybe eventually when I start getting higher priced items.. Most of my sales were around $10.
NO RETURNS
All positive feedback!
No international sales! (Until today! lol)

Here's a few of the things I sold this week!

I sold this Ralph Ralph Lauren pink button up shirt for $19.95 +free shipping. I paid $0.50 for it! I wish I could find Ralph Lauren every weekend for that price!!

I sold this GAP backpack that we picked up at the Goodwill Outlet for $24.95 +shipping.

I sold this Zondervan hard cover Bible for $19.95 +free shipping. I can't remember what I paid for this one.. I ALWAYS pick up Bibles. They are super consistent sellers!

Here's another one of my constant pickups! Shower curtain hooks! Our Goodwill sells these for $1-$2 a set. They're an easy $10-$20 profit! This new set sold for $9.95 +shipping.

Mom bought some homeschooling books on eBay a few years ago, and this lot was left over. They sold for $14.95 +free shipping.

I picked this denim skirt up, along with a bunch of others for $3 each. This one sold for $19.95 +free shipping.

Quick question for all you eBayers out there. Have you all noticed an increase in buyers with ZERO feedback??? Like they've been members for years, and have NO feedback at all?? Over half my buyers are like that.. Makes me wonder..

But that's all for me guys!!
Hope your week is starting out great!! I'll be back soon with another quick post! My boyfriend drives by a Goodwill every day when he goes to college, so I'll be posting his hauls soon!
Thanks for reading!!

Sales Update 8/11 - 8/17

Hey everyone! I'm back with a quick sales update! This week hasn't been as busy as previous weeks, but, I've still had plenty of good sales and made some great profit!

I sold this looney tunes Bugs Bunny and Gossamer ornament for $19.95 F/S

I sold this hen on nest at auction for $29.00 +shipping.

I FINALLY sold a coffee mug. $6 +shipping. Paid around $0.50.

I sold this Barney pillow case for $9.95 +shipping. These seem to always do well for me.

I've had this L.L. Bean shirt a while, so I took a best offer of $15 F/S. Paid $2.50.

That's all for this post everyone! I've got to go and start getting ready for my college class later today! Hope you all are having a great week!
