5/31 Columbia, KY Auction Haul

Hey guys! I'm back from a long day at the auction! We left home at 8 a.m. and didn't get back til 4 p.m.! It was a SUPER hot day. 94 degrees! We all came home sun burnt, and guess what I bought? NOTHING! Unbelievable right? They mainly had tools and farm equipment. They only had one table of household products, which of course they sold last, and most of the boxes were junk. Lucky me though, there was a yard sale right across the road.. I racked up. I bought 55 Hallmark ornaments for $35. A little more than I wanted to spend, but I knew if I got a buck a piece I'd make money. So I hauled those home. Here's a pic of what I got!

A huge tote full of ornaments.. It will take FOREVER to list all of these! But, I'm glad I picked them up. When I got home, me and my boyfriend started looking them up on eBay in the completed listings. I have around $600 worth of ornaments (if they sell). The most expensive ornament was around $75-$100!!
I also got a pair of black Justin boots for $1, 2 piece of Cash Family pottery for $4, a microwave plate for $0.50, and a scrabble game (for the tiles) for $1. I'm pretty happy even though I didn't get anything at the auction.

That's all for this haul post. I hope ya'll are having a great weekend!
Thanks for reading!
Also! Be sure to check out my store! All coffee mugs are buy one get one half off!!

EBay New 3 Month Automatic Relisting Feature

Hey guys! So I've been doing ALOT of research lately about this new automatic relisting feature, and I think I have it figured out. Every time I list an item, on the last page it always has a PRE CHECKED box that says "Automatically relist your item up to 3 times for FREE". I was VERY skeptical about using this. I don't pay insertion fees, I just use my monthly free 150 listings. So I was afraid that this feature would take my free listings every month and then charge me $0.30 per listing that goes over the 150.
After much research I've discovered that it does not use ANY additional free insertions after the initial insertion fee, (which is free if you haven't used yours up yet) or charge insertion fees. So potentially, I can list 150 items for FREE, and they will be listed on eBay for a total of 4 months (initial month listed, plus 3 more months free) without using any more of my free listings each month or charging me. I've been testing this out, and every time one of my items relist, it doesn't use a free listing or charge me! Yay! So this means I can list 150 the first month for free, then next month those 150 (if none sold) will relist without using any of the new free listings, giving me an additional 150 free listings to use for a total of 300 listings.. So by the fourth month, when the first set of listings relist for the final time, I will have a total of 600 items listed for FREE!
I guess eBay is wanting to push people to list more. Let me know your opinion on this new feature, and your experience! Thanks for reading!

eBay Friday Sales Update 5/22-5/30

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a GREAT sales week! I may go to an auction in Columbia, KY tomorrow, but I'm not sure yet. I don't really need any more to list, but it's nice to have the inventory since the new month is coming up and my free listings will start over.
I've been trying out the new automatic relist feature (I'll make a post about this soon), and hopefully, if it works the way people say it does, I should be able to list 150 items free for 4 months, and only use one free listing per item each 4 month period. We'll see how that goes.. Anyways! Onto a few of my sales this week! I hope you enjoy reading!

EBay Memorial Day Weekend Denim Skirt Goodwill Haul

Hey guys! I've started taking pictures of my to-be-listed eBay items, and I thought I'd share some of my latest finds. For Memorial day weekend, my parents took me Goodwill shopping. At one Goodwill, all I bought was denim skirts! They were $3 each, and I will be listing each skirt for $24.95 with free shipping. Most of the skirts are name brands like Ann Taylor, GAP, and Eddie Bauer. They all are in GREAT shape. Here's some that I bought.

This Skirt is a knee-length GAP size 0.                                  This is an American Eagle mini skirt.
It is new with the tags. It retails at $39.50.

This skirt is an Eddie Bauer wrap around skirt size 10.

This is an Aeropostale denim skirt size 3/4.                            This is one of those brands that isn't a big name brand, but it has a unique
pattern and style, making it worth some
good money!

What do you all think about selling denim skirts? Have you had any luck selling them? Please comment below, I'd love to hear!
Thanks again for reading everyone!

BOLO Alert! Cross Stitch Kits

Here's another item to be on the look out for when thrift shopping and yardsaling... Cross stitch kits! If you read my last eBay haul post, you know I sold a Dimensions cross stitch kit for $80! Most kits are at least worth $10, so they're good to pick up! You never know, you might find a gem like the ones below!

This Dimensions Gold Collection cross stitch kit sold for $239.99!
This kit sold for $225.00!

This cross stitch kit sold for a whopping $280.00!

You can find these cross stitch kits all the time when out treasure hunting. Usually you will not have to pay more than $2 a piece for them! Here's a couple tips for buying the cross stitch kits.
  • Try and buy kits that have never been opened.
  • If you buy a kit that is open, make sure it has never been started, and that all the pieces are still there.
  • Look for unique and complicated designs. The harder it is, the more it's probably worth!
Thanks for reading everyone! Have fun treasure hunting!

Ebay Sales Update 3/31-5/21

I'm back with yet another eBay Sales Update! This one's going to be a long one! These past two months, I've been yard saling and hitting up tons of Goodwills!
The first weekend in April, my family and I always make a special trip to Indiana to yard sale. This is the first year I've went with plans of shopping to resell on eBay, instead of just buying stuff for me. I came home loaded down with all kinds of treasures, only spending around $80! I brought home at least $800 worth of stuff to resell along with tons of items to keep!
I was so overwhelmed by the amount of items I brought home, that I didn't get anything listed until last week. But now my listing shelf (bought in Indiana) is now cleared, and ready to be filled again with my newest items!

But enough about the last 2 months. Onto the sales!

I sold this pair of like new black converse for $15 +shipping. They cost me $2 in Indiana

I sold these metal butterfly shower curtain hooks for $9.95 +shipping. I paid $1.50 at Goodwill.

I sold this print for my aunt. It sold for $15.00 +shipping. I think she paid $2 for a box of 11 or 12.

Now this was a crazy sale... I bought this dress last year for me. I wore it once, and then decided to sell it. I priced it at  $9.95 or best offer. A few weeks later I got an offer of $10 on it. I was expecting the terms to say something about free shipping, but they didn't. So I accepted the offer and within minutes the buyer paid me the full $10 +shipping. I guess it pays off to have that best offer option!!

This is DEFINITELY a BOLO item! My next post will be all about these vintage pillowcases and sheets. This vintage flannel Disney Little Mermaid pillow case sold for $9.95 +shipping! I paid $0.99 at the goodwill! It did have a small stain on one corner, but that didn't seem to affect the price any.

This was probably my best find yet...  A Dimensions Gold Collections cross stitch kit.. I knew some of these were worth some good money, so I didn't care to spend a dollar on it at goodwill. I thought I could at least get $10 out of it. So when I got home I looked it up on eBay.. There was only one other kit that had been listed, and it SOLD for $99.99. So I listed mine at the same price and sold it for a best offer of $80 and free shipping
This is what makes eBay so exciting! These hidden gems always make it a million times better!

Here's another BOLO item! Glass microwave plates. This one here sold for $14.95 +shipping! I had 7 of these listed, and all of them sold within 3 days.. Super quick cash! I just can't figure out why everyone needs them.. Are they breaking them? Or using them for crafts? No clue, but they're paying good money for them! I paid $2 at goodwill for this one.

For Mother's Day we went to the Crossville TN flea market, and on the way we stopped at a yard sale.. They had all kinds of brand new items for like a dollar a piece. It was great! I bought this cute little Fijit for $1 and sold him for $9.95 +shipping.
At that same yard sale I bought 6 pieces of Vera Bradley for ONE DOLLAR!!! Like I said earlier, their prices were GREAT!

Here's another pair of Converse that I bought for $0.50 in Indiana. They were pretty worn, but they sold for $9.95 +shipping!

I sold this Ipad mini lot for a friend at church. It sold for $225 +shipping.

I have had this FOREVER! I was so glad to see it gone.. It's a Vitascope movie camera that sold for $19.95 with free shipping.

I just sold this yesterday. It's a San Antonio Star Bucks coffee mug. Apparently it was retired or rare or something. I know it was made in 2009, and most other mugs like this sold for $60+ but, unfortunately, mine had a chip in the front corner next to the handle.. It still sold for $24.95 +shipping! Pretty good profit!

Lastly, I sold this Pyrex cranberry loaf pan for $12 +shipping. My mom bought a whole box of Pyrex for $2 at an auction, and I think I ended up making around $50 on everything in it.

That's all for this sales update! I hope you enjoyed reading, and learnt a little something new! I'll be back soon with my latest yard sale haul! Good luck selling on eBay! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to post below!
