Derek and Moms Goodwill Haul!

I absolutely LOVE that Derek drives by Goodwill every single day.. It definitely comes in handy! He's stopped 4 or 5 times now, and has always found something to sell on eBay! This is GREAT for me since I'm so tied down with school, and don't have the time to get out and go thrifting!
Here's what all he's picked up this week and last.

He picked up these poker chips for $3. They're bid up to $30.99 plus shipping right now! 2 hours left!

These two Avon french clown perfume bottles. They sell for about $16. If they don't sell, we have a friend at church that has a HUGE collection of perfume bottles that I'm sure would LOVE these!

He paid $0.50 for this relish dish. It's listed at around $30 +free shipping.

He found this vintage leather illustrated Bible. There's not one like it on eBay, so I'm curious how this one will do. It's from 1952.

He also picked up two microwave plates for $1 each, a HUGE metal poker chip case for $8 (selling for $50+ on eBay!), and 4 tall glasses that go for $40 EACH!
He's getting good at finding stuff to sell on eBay!

My mom went to the Goodwill in Cookeville, TN yesterday and came home with a bag full of goodies. She spent $32 and I should make $200 at the least.. Probably more. We'll just have to see how the auctions go.

Here's what she picked up.

This Vervaco latch hook kit for $2. They sell anywhere from $35-$200 each. This one is BRAND NEW! There's not a similar one on eBay.

This pony bead banner kit $2. One other is listed for $40, but it's not this pattern. Fingers crossed!

I always pick up Gold Collection cross stitch kits. This one was $6, but it sells for around $25-$30.

This kit was also $6 but it sells for $100! HUGE score there!

Here's another one of the Vervaco latch hook kits. It's brand new as well. Another $50-$200! Cha-CHING!

I always have her pick up shower curtain hooks. These were $1 a set. Easy $10-$20 each!

That's all for this post! I can't wait til I can get back out and go yardsaling again! Hopefully this weekend...

Thanks for reading everyone!

Yard Sale and Goodwill Haul Friday 7/26

Hey everyone! I'm back with a quick yard sale haul from yesterday! Me and Derek hadn't done anything much all week, so Friday we left my house at 7 in the morning to go on a date! We stopped at 2 estate sales, tons of yardsales, and goodwill. Most kids our age would be going on movie dates, or to parties, but we're just the odd ones out of the bunch I guess!  I did take him out to Red Lobster for lunch, so overall it was a GREAT day.

Here's a few of the things we found!

Two Vera Bradley pieces, and one Thirty One wallet. I think I paid $11 for all of this. Should make atleast $40 for all, maybe a bit more.

I found this Jansport vintage backpack for $2. I'm not sure if I'm going to mail it back to Jansport for a new one, or just sell it as it is. The vintage ones seems to sell for $30-$60+.

Derek found this bar of soap.. I wouldn't have thought twice about picking it up. One bar sells for $13!

I found this Ralph Lauren tote bag. It needs to be cleaned up, but it was SO worth the $1 I spent on it!

I picked up this scrabble game for $2.

I found this ADORABLE Remington typewriter! And guess what? I only paid $3!! Such a score!!!  Not sure if I'm going to keep it or not.. I may put it in the 127 sale this next weekend and see if I can sell it there!

Of course I had to buy some coffee mugs.. I was very selective though. I paid $3 for all of these. I got one Otagiri mug, one Waechetersbach, a tweety bird one, a Casablanca mug, and a 22K gold John Adams mug.

I saw on Kimberly's Blog that some caps seem to do well. So I thought I'd try my hand at it. I picked up all four of these for $0.25 each.

I picked up this NFL-opoly game for $2. I didn't see any new ones on eBay, so I'm hoping it'll be a quick sell!

That's all for me guys and gals! I hope ya'll are having a good week! I just got an email for free listings so I'm going to get to it!
Thanks for reading everyone!

A Late Sunday Sales Update! 6/30-7/6

Hey everyone! I'm a couple days late posting my sales update.. I've been SUPER busy this 4th of July weekend! Friday we had a cookout and went and watched fireworks. Saturday me, mom, Derek, Mattie, and my grandma went to Somerset, KY yardsaling, and we went to 2 Goodwills (I have a story to tell you about that in a minute). Then Sunday, we went to church, then left for Nashville! We went to the goodwill outlet! Then Monday we went to the Nashville zoo, and then to bible school that night! It was a super packed weekend!

So, here's the Goodwill story... My little sister is turning 10 in a few weeks, and all she has been asking for is ANOTHER American Girl doll. Well, Saturday when we went to Somerset, we went into the Goodwill and found TWO American Girl dolls. She was going crazy. They were $25 each. So I bought them both, with plans of reselling them, but Mattie went nuts and cried and said I had to give them to her! So she ended up getting them both 2 weeks before her birthday. I was a little upset because that would've been some nice profit to put towards my trip in September! (I'm going to Michigan with some senior citizens! Details soon!) But I'm glad I made her happy.

At the Goodwill outlet, we spent $49 on 77 pounds of items! I got TONS of Vera Bradley, Lucky Brand purses, Scrabble Tiles, and all kinds of other treasures!

Here's me, mom, and Mattie all packed up and ready to go to the zoo! Notice Mattie holding the two American Girl dolls...
It wasn't a very large zoo. It had more farm animals than exotic animals. Which was kindly weird.. But it was still a great trip!
Here's a few of my favorite pics! I love having an Iphone!

But anyways! On to the sales update!

I sold 13 items this week.
Total sales before fees: $ 170.65
No negative feedbacks.
No returns.

Pretty awesome week! I need to get my sales amount up to about $500 a week since I'm fixing to start making car payments, and I now have a phone bill!

I sold these black cowboy boots for $11 +shipping. Paid $1.

I sold another lot of A Beka books for $40 +shipping.

I sold these pinecone shower curtain hooks for $13.45 +shipping. Paid $1 at Goodwill.

I sold this Wilton Dora cakepan for $8.95 +shipping. I can't remember what I paid for it.. Probably a dollar?

Sorry for the long sales update everyone! I hope you enjoyed reading! Have a great week!

EBay Memorial Day Weekend Denim Skirt Goodwill Haul

Hey guys! I've started taking pictures of my to-be-listed eBay items, and I thought I'd share some of my latest finds. For Memorial day weekend, my parents took me Goodwill shopping. At one Goodwill, all I bought was denim skirts! They were $3 each, and I will be listing each skirt for $24.95 with free shipping. Most of the skirts are name brands like Ann Taylor, GAP, and Eddie Bauer. They all are in GREAT shape. Here's some that I bought.

This Skirt is a knee-length GAP size 0.                                  This is an American Eagle mini skirt.
It is new with the tags. It retails at $39.50.

This skirt is an Eddie Bauer wrap around skirt size 10.

This is an Aeropostale denim skirt size 3/4.                            This is one of those brands that isn't a big name brand, but it has a unique
pattern and style, making it worth some
good money!

What do you all think about selling denim skirts? Have you had any luck selling them? Please comment below, I'd love to hear!
Thanks again for reading everyone!

Goodwill Dress Haul 3/7/14

In my last post I told you guys I'd post some pictures of the 3 dresses I bought at Goodwill last week. So here they are! They were $7.99 each.

I love the colors in this dress. It's perfect for spring or I could wear it in winter with a cardigan or a jacket over it.

I found this black high low dress. The neon colors really pop against the black. It's perfect for summer!

My favorite out of all three is this vintage 1940's style dress. It's my absolute favorite color. It is all around gorgeous.
The dress was missing its original belt, so I found this black belt to go with it. I think it works well with the dress.
Thanks for reading my post! Hope you have been enjoying the blog so far! I'll be posting some more soon!

Goodwill Haul 3/7/14 + More!

Last Friday I had to go to the oral surgeon to schedule an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed, so while we were down there we stopped at the Goodwill. I spent a total of  $44, and yes, that's more than I usually spend, but I got some stuff for me and not just stuff to resell. I bought 5 coffee mugs to resell, 2 skirts and 3 dresses for me, and 2 things for my mom. I'll post pics of the dresses soon. (They're gorgeous!) Hopefully the 5 coffee mugs will pay for my total cost. Each coffee mug cost me $0.50.

Also! If you don't have one already, I would highly recommend asking a Goodwill worker about getting a Goodwill rewards card. You get 1 point for every $25 you spend, unless it's double point day, and once you get 10 points you will get $25 in free merchandise! Sounds good to me!

I bought this Happy 40th Birthday mug. It's brand new, so I didn't think it would hurt to try and sell it.

I got two of these Super Coach mugs. They were both brand new in the box, and I thought someone might want them to give as a gift.

I found this "dog Dad" coffee mug. With fathers day just around the corner, and the fact that it's dog themed, it should sell pretty quickly.

Lastly, I found this Best Dad golf coffee mug. Once again, Father's day is just around the corner. It should sell fairly quick.

Then Saturday, me, mom, my sister, boyfriend, and grandparents all headed to Liberty, KY to go and buy some stuff for our greenhouse. Since we were heading out that way we took some of our old stuff to donate to The Trading Post. It's a thrift store that supports the Galilean home. We went in and looked around a bit, and I found 2 things to resell. I spent a whopping $1.56.

I found this Trivial Pursuit 25th Anniversary ornament. A similar one is listed for $24.95 on eBay.

I also found this cute little guy. He's a figurine from the Mitty Mouse collection called "The Bold Pirate". The figurine was crafted with SO much detail. It was hard not to buy him.
Similar Mitty Mouse figurines sell between $25-$35. So hopefully I can get $30 or so out of mine.

So I've had a pretty good weekend overall! Hopefully, I can turn my $4 investment into about $100!

Goodwill Outlet Haul 2/28/14

Hey everyone! I'm going to go hit up a goodwill later tonight, so I thought I'd go ahead post a haul from last week to get caught up.

Last week was my birthday, so for my present from my parents, I asked to be taken to the Goodwill Outlet for the weekend. Our nearest outlet is about 3 hours or more away, so I had never been before.

We packed our bags and headed out Friday morning. The first thing we did when we reached Nashville, was went into the Goodwill Outlet just to scout it out. We hadn't planned on buying anything, but when we walked in, we just couldn't resist digging through the large bins and filling our carts. If you've never been to a Goodwill Outlet before, everything there is sold by the pound. The prices were cheap, but to get the cheapest price, you had to buy over 50 pounds. So, my mom was saying we needed to get anything we thought we wanted to reach the 50 pound mark. About 2 hours and 3 shopping carts later, we were ready to check out. We rolled our carts up to the checkout counter, weighed them, and stood in awe at how much we had thrown into our carts. We had over 150 pounds of stuff! With the cheap $0.59/pound price, it was such a steal.

By the end of the weekend we had bought over 300 pounds of merchandise from the outlet. It was such an incredible experience, and I was very lucky to get to spend it with some of my favorite people.

Here's a few of my best finds from the trip. Keep in mind this isn't even half of the stuff I bought.. I have enough stuff to list for another month or two!

I found this CUTE Juicy Couture purse. It's missing a few of the rhinestones, but the inside looks brand new!

I found this Nelson snapcover Bible. I saw one exactly like this selling for almost $80!

This Eddie Bauer phone case/wallet. It sold in a couple days for $7.50 +shipping.

I also found these awesome Mcdonalds 1955 purple glasses. 3 of them! They don't sell for too much on eBay, but I thought they were SO cool looking!

And for all the Facebook Farmville fans out there, this I Love Farmville coffee mug. I LOVE selling coffee mugs on eBay. They are one of the easiest items to find and sell. It's a great niche to be selling in on eBay

Of course, I bought TONS more, but this is just a few.. I'll post more finds soon!
Thanks for reading!
