Derek and Moms Goodwill Haul!

I absolutely LOVE that Derek drives by Goodwill every single day.. It definitely comes in handy! He's stopped 4 or 5 times now, and has always found something to sell on eBay! This is GREAT for me since I'm so tied down with school, and don't have the time to get out and go thrifting!
Here's what all he's picked up this week and last.

He picked up these poker chips for $3. They're bid up to $30.99 plus shipping right now! 2 hours left!

These two Avon french clown perfume bottles. They sell for about $16. If they don't sell, we have a friend at church that has a HUGE collection of perfume bottles that I'm sure would LOVE these!

He paid $0.50 for this relish dish. It's listed at around $30 +free shipping.

He found this vintage leather illustrated Bible. There's not one like it on eBay, so I'm curious how this one will do. It's from 1952.

He also picked up two microwave plates for $1 each, a HUGE metal poker chip case for $8 (selling for $50+ on eBay!), and 4 tall glasses that go for $40 EACH!
He's getting good at finding stuff to sell on eBay!

My mom went to the Goodwill in Cookeville, TN yesterday and came home with a bag full of goodies. She spent $32 and I should make $200 at the least.. Probably more. We'll just have to see how the auctions go.

Here's what she picked up.

This Vervaco latch hook kit for $2. They sell anywhere from $35-$200 each. This one is BRAND NEW! There's not a similar one on eBay.

This pony bead banner kit $2. One other is listed for $40, but it's not this pattern. Fingers crossed!

I always pick up Gold Collection cross stitch kits. This one was $6, but it sells for around $25-$30.

This kit was also $6 but it sells for $100! HUGE score there!

Here's another one of the Vervaco latch hook kits. It's brand new as well. Another $50-$200! Cha-CHING!

I always have her pick up shower curtain hooks. These were $1 a set. Easy $10-$20 each!

That's all for this post! I can't wait til I can get back out and go yardsaling again! Hopefully this weekend...

Thanks for reading everyone!

School, Quick Question, and A Sales Update! 8/18-8/24

Hey everyone! I'm back! So much has been going on lately that I haven't been able to take a blogging break! High school and college have taken up most of my time this week, along with our church camp trip this weekend!

I'm taking English 101 and Psychology. Already in English we had to write 4 paper, short answer things, and take two quizzes. They were due last night. So that's why I'm a little late posting.. We went to camp Friday and came back Saturday evening, so I tried to get everything done at the last minute yesterday! I hope I got an A on my papers!

Sales have been BOOMING! I did list a few things last week, and took a million pictures, but I didn't get close to my goal. I'm going to try and use the rest of my free listings this week. There's no use in paying for my store subscription and150 free listings if I don't use them all!

This week (8/18-8/24) I sold a total of 15 items (I've had one sale today so far! But I'll mention that next week!)
Total sales amount (before fees and shipping costs): $205.75
I really wish I could get my weekly sales up to about $500 a week. Maybe eventually when I start getting higher priced items.. Most of my sales were around $10.
NO RETURNS
All positive feedback!
No international sales! (Until today! lol)

Here's a few of the things I sold this week!

I sold this Ralph Ralph Lauren pink button up shirt for $19.95 +free shipping. I paid $0.50 for it! I wish I could find Ralph Lauren every weekend for that price!!

I sold this GAP backpack that we picked up at the Goodwill Outlet for $24.95 +shipping.

I sold this Zondervan hard cover Bible for $19.95 +free shipping. I can't remember what I paid for this one.. I ALWAYS pick up Bibles. They are super consistent sellers!

Here's another one of my constant pickups! Shower curtain hooks! Our Goodwill sells these for $1-$2 a set. They're an easy $10-$20 profit! This new set sold for $9.95 +shipping.

Mom bought some homeschooling books on eBay a few years ago, and this lot was left over. They sold for $14.95 +free shipping.

I picked this denim skirt up, along with a bunch of others for $3 each. This one sold for $19.95 +free shipping.

Quick question for all you eBayers out there. Have you all noticed an increase in buyers with ZERO feedback??? Like they've been members for years, and have NO feedback at all?? Over half my buyers are like that.. Makes me wonder..

But that's all for me guys!!
Hope your week is starting out great!! I'll be back soon with another quick post! My boyfriend drives by a Goodwill every day when he goes to college, so I'll be posting his hauls soon!
Thanks for reading!!

I sold this hen on nest at auction for $29.00 +shipping.

I FINALLY sold a coffee mug. $6 +shipping. Paid around $0.50.

I sold this Barney pillow case for $9.95 +shipping. These seem to always do well for me.

I've had this L.L. Bean shirt a while, so I took a best offer of $15 F/S. Paid $2.50.

That's all for this post everyone! I've got to go and start getting ready for my college class later today! Hope you all are having a great week!

I'm Still Alive!! - Super Late Sunday Sales Update 7/21 - 8/10

Hey everyone!! I'm FINALLY back with a sales update! I know it's been a while since I've posted, and I am so so sorry. These two weeks have been spent having our first 127 sale. We set up on August the 2nd and worked it all the way through yesterday! We are all wore out!!! Having a yard sale is a LOT of work.. Especially for that many days. It was well worth it though! We had a wonderful turnout and made a ton of money!

We got to spend our week with some wonderful people, and we sure made plenty of good memories. I'm ready for next year!

Off of what I've been doing for two weeks and onto the sales update! This is from the two weeks I've been gone, so it'll be a long one! I've had too many sales to count!

I picked up this DVD remote at the Goodwill Outlet, it weighed about 3 ounces so it may have cost me 10 cents? Something like that. It sold for $10 +free shipping

I found this brand new stamp set at the Goodwill for $1.50. It sold at auction for $9.95 +shipping. My aunt LOVES crafty things (like me!) and she probably would've wanted this.... Lol Sorry Carol..

I sold this Woolrich 2XL shirt for $15 +free shipping. Paid $2 at a yardsale.

Here's my best find in a while! I sold this Polo Ralph Lauren vintage button front shirt for $34.50 +shipping! I paid $3 for it.

I seem to sell a couple ornaments a week nowadays! This one sold for $14.95 +free shipping.

I sold this GAP messenger bag that I picked up at the Goodwill Outlet for $15 +shipping.

I sold this Lucky brand 100% leather purse for $20.50 +shipping. I picked it up at the Outlet too!

I sold my first ugly Christmas sweater! $15 +shipping.

I sold this Vera Bradley bag for my sister. $18 +shipping.

No clue what this bag is.. Or what it was used for. I just knew it was Burberry so I picked it up for $1 and it sold for $17.50 +shipping at auction.

I sold this teddy bear sewing pattern for $14.95 +free shipping. I picked it up at the Goodwill Outlet.

I sold this Antique Children's Fashions book for $10 +free shipping. I picked it up for $0.50? Maybe less.

I got this brand new water bed heater for FREE! It finally sold for a best offer of $40 +shipping!

I bought this jacket for me at a yardsale a while back for $3, but it was a little too big, so to eBay it went! Sold for $15 +shipping!

I sold this Richard Lewis print for my aunt. It went for $19.95 +free shipping.

This is another one of my sisters Vera Bradley pieces.. She goes yardsaling with me most of the time, and everytime I try and buy something Vera Bradley they want an arm and a leg for it, but if she wants to buy it, most of the time it's only $1 or FREE. Sold for $12.95 +shipping.

That's all for my sales update! I hope you all are having a GREAT week! School starts Tuesday, and college starts the 18th! Hopefully I can stay on schedule and post regularly!
Thanks for reading everyone!

Yard Sale and Goodwill Haul Friday 7/26

Hey everyone! I'm back with a quick yard sale haul from yesterday! Me and Derek hadn't done anything much all week, so Friday we left my house at 7 in the morning to go on a date! We stopped at 2 estate sales, tons of yardsales, and goodwill. Most kids our age would be going on movie dates, or to parties, but we're just the odd ones out of the bunch I guess!  I did take him out to Red Lobster for lunch, so overall it was a GREAT day.

Here's a few of the things we found!

Two Vera Bradley pieces, and one Thirty One wallet. I think I paid $11 for all of this. Should make atleast $40 for all, maybe a bit more.

I found this Jansport vintage backpack for $2. I'm not sure if I'm going to mail it back to Jansport for a new one, or just sell it as it is. The vintage ones seems to sell for $30-$60+.

Derek found this bar of soap.. I wouldn't have thought twice about picking it up. One bar sells for $13!

I found this Ralph Lauren tote bag. It needs to be cleaned up, but it was SO worth the $1 I spent on it!

I picked up this scrabble game for $2.

I found this ADORABLE Remington typewriter! And guess what? I only paid $3!! Such a score!!!  Not sure if I'm going to keep it or not.. I may put it in the 127 sale this next weekend and see if I can sell it there!

Of course I had to buy some coffee mugs.. I was very selective though. I paid $3 for all of these. I got one Otagiri mug, one Waechetersbach, a tweety bird one, a Casablanca mug, and a 22K gold John Adams mug.

I saw on Kimberly's Blog that some caps seem to do well. So I thought I'd try my hand at it. I picked up all four of these for $0.25 each.

I picked up this NFL-opoly game for $2. I didn't see any new ones on eBay, so I'm hoping it'll be a quick sell!

That's all for me guys and gals! I hope ya'll are having a good week! I just got an email for free listings so I'm going to get to it!
Thanks for reading everyone!

Sunday Sales Update 7/14-7/20

Hey everyone! I'm back with another sales update! This week was definitely a GREAT week for me!  I only went one day this week without selling anything.

I had 21 sales this week.
Total sales before fees: $440.77
2 Unpaid item cases. (-$24.50) (One just closed as I was typing the post! LOL!)
So make that 1 unpaid item case. (-$18.00)
1 International Sale

The unpaid item case... Someone bought a Vera Bradley diaper bag from me that I got at the Goodwill Outlet. We sent a few offers back and forth and settled on $18. A few minutes later they sent me a message wanting to mail me a check, and then when I said no, a money order.. How on earth would you deal with this situation?? The buyer has ZERO feedback... My description says Paypal only.. So frustrating..

But anyways! This has been my best week yet! My highest item sold was a homeschool computer software disc. It sold for $54 F/S.

Me and Derek went "halfers" on this porcelain sign. We spent $12 total on it and it sold for $51 + shipping at auction.

I sold this Covington red robe for $17.95 +shipping.

I sold this Stanley belt buckle for $15 +shipping. I bought 3 belt buckles for $5 a while back. I gave one to my cousin and the other is in my store!

I sold this Trivial Pursuit ornament for $19.95 F/S. I paid $0.50 for it.

I've sold a ton of ornaments this week. This one sold for $15.95 F/S. I still have a lot left, but I think most of them will sell a little closer to Christmas.

My mom bought a box of books for $20 at an auction. This was in the box, and it sold for a best offer of $15 F/S.

Thanks for reading everyone! Hope you had a good week like I did!
