Outlet Haul 2/6/16

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry I've not posted in a while. Life has been taking me by surprise and keeping me away from the computer. A lot of things have happened the past few weeks, including the passing of my amazing grandpa, but hopefully I'll be posting pretty regularly from now on. 

I went to the outlet yesterday with my family and I ended up spending $76. I got about 12 pairs of shoes, lots of plush, miscellaneous items, and 116 pieces of clothes!!! Here's a picture of my clothing haul! 

Here's what our vehicle looked like when we left. 

You better believe I left there with some GREAT stuff!!! I can't wait to get to listing it all!!

Poshmark Update

Hey everyone! I've not posted about Poshmark in a while, so I thought I'd share my sales! 

I've only sold 5 items.. Pretty lame, I know. Then again, I've not been listing regularly (UNTIL TODAY!) and I've not been listing my eBay inventory, only my personal items. I'm upping my game though and I'm listing all my women's clothes on eBay and Poshmark. I'll also be sharing my listings on Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter! I'm trying to get my sales to increase majorly while I'm out of school so that I have a large savings when I move away in the fall to go to college!

Biggest find EVER

Hey everyone! I've got a quick find to share with y'all!

My awesome aunt was out thrift shopping today and stumbled across a sweater. She sent me a picture of the tag and I about had a heart attack! She had a gut feeling it was good because of the "Made in Australia" tag and BOY was she right! 

I'm sure most of y'all have heard the famous brand "COOGI". :)

Sales Update 1/1/1-1/13/16

Good morning everyone! 

The new year is starting out pretty slow for me.. Only 21 sales so far totaling $550. One of the goals I had made for the new year was to make $500 a week, so I'm halfway there, but still not even close, so I will just keep on truckin' and listin'! Hopefully my numbers will increase soon! 

Here's a recap of what I've sold! 

12 of these items recently came from the bins and the rest was old stock that I was glad to move! My highest sale was the $150 DVR, but that was a consignment sale for a friend so I will only get to keep my 25%. My goal for today is to list 10-20 items and get my pants pile photographed and measured! We are taking a trip to the outlet next week too! I can't wait to see what all I find!

How I Ship a Glass Microwave Plate

Woo hoo! Two posts in one day! 

I've been getting a lot of questions about how I ship out my large glass microwave plates. So since I sold one today, I thought I'd give y'all a quick picture tutorial of just how I do it! 

Here's the plate I sold. It's 14 inches! So it's a pretty big one! (Ignore the spots. It's laying on my paint covered table!) 

First thing I do is wrap the plate in bubble wrap. LOTS of bubble wrap. 

Then, I wrap the plate in a recycled box. Any kind works! 

Then, I telescope two of the large priority mail boxes to make a box of the appropriate size for the plate. These boxes are free! You can order them online at USPS.com! 

Make sure you tape down all the sides and corners where the two boxes join! 

Then I place the microwave plate in the telescoped boxes and fill in the empty space with whatever fillers I have on hand. Today I had packing peanuts, but sometimes I use air packs, newspaper, or cardboard to fill in the space. 

Lastly, I close the top up, and tape down all the sides! The plate should arrive safe and sound! I've never had one to break mailing them this way! 

That's how I ship my microwave plates! I hope this post will help y'all and motivate you to ship those big glass pieces! It's easier than you think!

Starting 2016 Right! Outlet Haul 1/1/16

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great New Years! Mine has been super exciting starting with an outlet trip! We left at 7 am and are just now heading home at 3:30 pm. I bought two cart loads totaling 89 pounds of clothes (mainly) and it only cost me $73!

I scored brands like cAbi, many Anthropologie brands,Lululemon, Nike and so much more! I can't believe the amount of GREAT things that I found today!
