Winter Storm and Sales Update 2/11 - 2/19

I hope you all are staying warm and toasty this week! We've been hit by the winter storm Octavia, and have the most snow that we've probably had in a very long time! We have layers of snow and ice adding up to around 8 inches! College has been cancelled all week, so me, my laptop, and my two house dogs have been bundled up on the couch enjoying Netflix and some occasional eBay listing.

We didn't get to go to the estate auction on Valentine's day last Saturday because of the cold and snow.. My friends up north told us it wasn't a good auction anyways. Oh well. Instead! Our Valentine's Day was spent at home eating pizza and watching movies, anticipating this snowstorm.

My mom's not been to work any this week (until today), so she's been my photographer the past few days. I had over 50 ties and some other items that needed pictures taken, and she got it all done! Needless to say, I'm now very much behind on my listing.

I have listed around 20 items this week, bringing my total to 416 active listings.
Since my last post, I've sold 10 items, totaling around $166 this week before fees. Still not hardly the amount I want, but then again, I'm not constantly listing, sourcing, and I don't have +a lot of high dollar items. Most of my items range from $5-$30. I'm working on that though.

Here's the highlights of this weeks sales:

I am STILL selling Hallmark ornaments!  I probably have around 20-30 left to sell. This miniature ornament (around the size of my thumb) sold for 14.95 +free shipping. I think each ornament cost me an average of $0.64.

Microwave plates are consistent sellers for me. I pick them up for around $1-$2 and this one sold for $16.33 +shipping.

I thought this was the CUTEST set of shower hooks! I picked them up for $1, broke two of them, then sold the set of 10 for a best offer of $11 +shipping.

This purse is trouble waiting to happen...
I picked this Mossy Oak bag up at the Goodwill Outlet. The day I listed it, it sold within a few hours. Once it sold, I then realized the zipper was broken off inside the bag... I took a picture of the broken zipper but I didn't put that in the description... I have messaged the buyer THREE times with no response.. I shipped the bag today, and we will see how long it takes for them to open a case..  Sold for $20 +shipping.

This lot of brand new scrap booking paper was picked up at the Goodwill Outlet as well! I paid around $4 (I think) It was $0.59/pound. Sold at auction for $51 +shipping! Who knew??

I picked this stein up last summer for $1. It finally sold after being posted on Twitter for $18 +shipping.

(I am a STRONG believer in promoting your listings via social media! The last three things I've sold were tweeted prior to selling! Follow me on Twitter HERE and on pinterest HERE)

That's it for me this week! I hope you all are staying warm!
Thanks for reading!

Since I've not posted an Adsense update in a while, here it is!
I'm up to $33.76. I'm slowly making progress! Thanks to everyone who has helped me get that much!

Lucky in Love Pyrex and Valentine's Day Plans

We all hope that one day we will find something at a junk sale and make a million. At least I know I want that to happen! Here's an auction that is currently active on eBay. It has two days left. The bid was started out at $39.99. So I'm thinking this person didn't know what they had. Here's the link to check out the auction! CLICK HERE.

I personally think this pattern is super cute! I read somewhere that this pattern was a proto-type and never was released for sale.

This weekend is Valentine's Day! Of course, my Valentine's Day will be spent with my boyfriend and family at an absolute estate auction sourcing for eBay! The perfect date! What about you all? Will you be thrifting this Valentine's Day??

Sales Update 2/3-2/10

I'm back again with yet another sales update! Seems like that is all I've been posting lately.. I'll try and finish up my BOLO list sometime this week or next.
I hope you all are having a GREAT sales week! My week is going pretty well. I've had a total of 8 sales this week for a total amount of $128 before fees. Nothing major, but since I've not listed anything in a few weeks, I'm happy with that amount.
My new goal is to list at least 5 things a day. I spent tonight looking up all my unlisted inventory, and I figured up that I had $1,200 sitting on my shelf, not counting the clothes! So I've got to get to listing!

Here's what I sold!

2 tubes of 315 Covergirl Makeup - $7.95 each
Mickey Mouse Hallmark ornament - $7 +shipping

My mom picked this ornament up for $1. I sold it for a best offer of $6 +shipping to Hungary

I thought about keeping this cake pan for my dad's 50th birthday this year, but instead sold it for $10 +free shipping.

My aunt picked this digital photo frame up for $4 at Goodwill, it sold for $20 +shipping to Canada.

This is another of me and Derek's finds. We picked this textbook up for a quarter, and it sold for $20 +shipping.

Mom picked this needlework kit up at the Goodwill for $2. It finally sold for a best offer of $30 +Shipping.

That's it for my sales this week! Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful rest of the week!

January End of the Month Sales Update and a Website Review

Hey everyone! Sorry I'm a little late with my blogging. College has been keeping me super busy! My January profits weren't as much as I was hoping for, but they were better than previous months sales.
This month I profited almost $500. The past few months have only been $200-$300 profit a month. So I was happy with that amount. My goal for this year is to FINALLY have a $1,000 profit month. I'm working on it slowly but surely.
I have over 400 items listed on eBay right now.
Here's a few things I sold last week to get you caught up. If you'd like to see everything I've sold check it out HERE.

I had TONS of sales the last week of January. Here's some of the highlights!

I picked up these North Face pants at my favorite Goodwill for $3. I sold them for a best offer of $30 +shipping.

I think this came in a lot of clothes I bought from a lady in my Facebook yardsale group. It sold for $14.95 +shipping.

Mom picked this cross stitch kit up for me for $4. It sold for a best offer of $18 +shipping.

This was my sisters. She loves to beat me to things at yardsales because she knows if she buys it mom will make me sell it for her on eBay. Which is fine. I know she needs money too! She paid $2 for this latch hook kit, and it sold for $24.95 +shipping.

I picked this Bible up in Michigan for $0.50. It sold for $19.95 +shipping.

This shirt came from a yardsale last fall. I paid $1 for it and it sold for $39.95 +free shipping.

I ALWAYS pick up Vera Bradley if it's cheap. This purse was $3, and it sold for $19.95 +shipping to Canada.

I picked up this L.L. Bean blazer at my favorite Goodwill a few weeks ago. I paid $5 for it, and it sold for a best offer of $28 +shipping.

My grandpa gave me these Florsheim made in Italy shoes. They sold for $19.95 +shipping.

I sold one of my college textbooks that I bought off of the Facebook yardsale. I paid $20 for it, and sold it for $25 +shipping.

That's my sales from the last week in January! They were pretty great!

                               Website Review/EBay Haul

I've not bought much to resell lately, but 2 weeks ago, a site called ThredUp hosted a 99 cent sale on their website. They had jeans, shirts, dresses, shoes, and everything else for 99 cents! ALL NAME BRANDS!!!
I had a $30 credit from the site for some referrals from months gone by, so I ended up ordering 52 pieces of clothing (mainly jeans) for $20 shipped! I just got the order yesterday, and boy was I IMPRESSED! I got brands like Banana Republic, Lucky Brand, GAP, and more! All for $0.40 per piece! I ordered everything in my size, and ended up keeping 22 pieces for myself, so I now have 30 pieces to resell! I am going to make some SERIOUS cash on this stuff! I'll be watching for another AWESOME sale like this, and I'll be sure and post if they do! Here is my referral link if you'd like to sign up! CLICK HERE I'd appreciate it! Also, feel free to share your referral link in the comments.

Thanks for reading everyone! Have a great rest of the week!! :)

Super Lame Sales Update 1/14-1/20

Hey everyone!  I'm back with yet another sales update. (You're all probably tired of them by now!) This week has been HORRIBLE. Absolutely AWFUL. It's my fault though. I only have 69 things listed. Yeah... that's the least I've ever had since I started years ago. I have over 400 items in the unsold section. I'm still waiting for a promotion.. Someone said we'd be getting another promotion somewhere towards the end of the month, so I'm praying for a free 30-day fixed price one! That would definitely get me motivated!

I went to my favorite Goodwill Thursday, and picked up TONS of great items to resell. One of which I picked up for myself and then found out it was worth a pretty penny. I just could not make myself keep it. I've got to keep the income coming in!

I'm hoping to work tonight after class and get everything I bought last week listed. We are planning on making a trip to the Goodwill Outlet soon! So hopefully I'll have it all listed before I haul home 100s of pounds of more junk  umm.... I mean treasures!

This week like I said, has been HORRID! I have had TWO Unpaid item cases open. I haven't had one of those in ages.

My total sales this week: 3

Yes. I have had only 3 sales.. Two of those have not paid... The one that did pay was only $7.... I need to motivate and get some more sales coming in!

I won't bore you with any pictures since there's not really anything to show..

I hope you all are having a MUCH better week than I am.

I'll be back soon HOPEFULLY with a haul video!! Stay tuned for that!

Sales Update 1/7-1/13 and a Quick Question...

Hey everyone! I'm back on schedule with my sales updates! This week has been BUSY! I wish it were like this all year round! Somehow I'm still having a steady flow of sales despite me not listing anything.

College has officially started back, so I'm trying to get everything balanced to where I have time to get all of my work done along with keeping my store stocked.

I'm down to 145 items in my store. I know whatever isn't listed can't sell, but I can't constantly relist my unsold items, because I'd end up losing money! I'm trying to list 150 new items every month, and then only relist old items when eBay runs a promotion. So far it's worked pretty well for me.

I have listed a total of 56 items this month.
Number of items sold this week: 13
Total amount sold (before fees): $137.52
2 International sale this week.

Here's a few of my biggest sales this week!

I sold this Lynyrd Skynyrd cap for $15 +shipping to Spain. I picked it up for $0.25.

I'm not sure where I picked this cross stitch kit up at, but it finally sold for $14.95 +shipping.

I've had this game while. I think it was from the huge lot I sold back in 2011 when I first started eBay!
(You can read about my first eBay sale HERE!)
The game sold for $16.96 +shipping.

I picked this up at Goodwill for $1.50. It sold for $12.95 +shipping.

Sorry for such a short post everyone! I've got to go start on an essay! I will try and be back Friday with a Goodwill haul post! OR here's my question.. What do you all think about me starting up a YouTube channel with my Goodwill hauls? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for reading everyone!

Sales Update 12/28-1/6 2015!!!

Hey everyone! I'm back with a quick sales update. The new year has been bringing customers in from everywhere! Items I've had listed around a year now are selling, and the newer items are too! I've been noticing a dramatic jump in sales every time I list 5-10 items, so I'm trying to keep that up!

If I can get *most* of my high dollar items listed today and tomorrow, I'm going to go to my new favorite Goodwill Thursday! This Goodwill does not have very many knick knacks and household goods like I'm used to selling, but they do have clothes. LOTS of AMAZING brands and styles. Most Goodwills I go to, the clothes are EXTREMELY picked over. When I went to this one last Saturday I found cashmere pieces, Ralph Lauren, and even a $200 sports coat! I don't know if I came on a good day or what! I'm hoping it's just because resellers don't shop there! I'm wanting to get more into clothes instead of just selling the articles me and my family don't want anymore. I feel like there's a lot of money to be made in that category, but there is a lot of competition. Selling in clothes also requires A TON of research. I'm working on it, slowly but surely!

Anyways! Sales!! They are picking up GREATLY! I LOVE January. It seems to be my all time best month every year. I'm hoping for a $1,000 month! We will see!

I've had 22 sales since my last post.
Total sale amount (less any shipping costs): $319.50

Here's a few of my sales!

I picked up this pillow case a while back. I paid $0.99 for it at the Goodwill and it sold for $10 +shipping. Pillowcases are EASY money. They ship light and are easy to store!

I picked up this Lenox ornament a few months ago for $1, it sat and sat, then last night I put the link on my Twitter, and lo and behold, IT SOLD! $15 +shipping!

I picked this Bible up in March at the Goodwill Outlet, sold for $29.95 +Free shipping.

Me and Derek went "halfers" on this one, we paid $5 at Goodwill and it sold for $39.95 + free shipping. This is a 2XL. The larger sizes seem to do very well for me.

I picked this Perfection game up back in the summer and just listed it last week. It sold within minutes for $19.95 +shipping. Definitely a BOLO!

Here's another item I picked up months ago and just now listed! I picked this Pampered Chef oval baker up for $1 at Goodwill and it sold within a day for $19.95 +shipping.

If you would like to see my other sales check them out HERE!

Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you're having a very successful New Year!!
