Sales Update 2/1-2/10

Hey everyone! Before continuing, be prepared! This post will be VERY VERY long. I haven't posted in a while and I feel like y'all need to be caught up!

First things first, January sales! I did pretty well, with over $1,400 in sales, bringing my profit to around $900 after fees and such, but I'm still nowhere close to where I want to be. I hope to double that number sometime this year.

I've also been trying to get back into the listing groove this month. My goal is at least 10 items a day! So far I've listed close to 40 new items, so I'm getting there!

If you read my last post, I went to the Outlet and spent $76. I got TONS of great stuff and my estimated gross income will be over $2,000 just from that one haul! I can't wait to get it all listed!
Here are a few of my favorite finds from that trip:

(This Jacket ALREADY Sold on Poshmark for $75!!!)

(SOLD 2/14 for $30!!!)

If you can't tell, I'm a BIG fan of vintage dresses! These are the first that I've ever picked up to flip in my store! I'm so excited! Does anyone have any experience with these? Would etsy be a better market for them?

I also found some North Face Pants, two pairs of Chacos (one pair was found by aunt!), lots of J. Crew, some plush, and so much more!

Okay! On to February! My sales have been SUPER slow, but I believe it's partially due to the fact that I haven't listed as much as usual (I'm down to around 400 items in the store instead of my usual 650).

I've had 18 sales since the 1st of the month totaling $255. That is TERRIBLE. I need to get some listing done.. Oh well. Hoping for some more buyers during "Tax-mas" ;)

Here's what sold!

Pretty much everything shown was either super old stock or something I picked up from the Outlet!

On Poshmark this month, I've had 5 sales totaling $182! I have been LOVING Poshmark! My total profit after their fees comes out to $145.05. Not bad!

Sales are slowly trickling in. I've listed all the bras that I picked up at the bins and I'm starting on the dresses now. I can't wait to get those vintage beauties up!

I hope things are well with all of you!
Thanks for reading! :)

  1. Hi Nandry, Question regarding Poshmark I know buyer pays 4.99 in priority shipping but we know priority is expensive who pays for the rest?
    Thanks Ana

    1. I'm not sure the answer to that! I'm sure Poshmark has a deal with USPS to get the shipping flat rate. what I love the most about Poshmark is that I never have to fool with purchasing shipping labels. The label is just emailed directly to me, I print it out, and send the package! No money comes to me for that.
      Hope this helps! :)

  2. Great post! I love seeing your list of sales. The vintage dresses are beautiful and I believe will be a good seller for you. I know if I had a waist, I would wear them! I think it is smart of you to pursue multiple avenues in which to sell, such as Poshmark, Etsy, etc. Thanks so much for sharing!

  4. Neat for poshmark. Is that just like a local craigslist thing with a little more buyer confidence?

    1. Not really. It's not local at all. It's nationwide. It's just like eBay in a way minus all the fees and shipping hassle. If you sell a lot of womens clothes, you should definitely check it out!
