October Sales Update 10/1-10/14

Hello hello! I'm back with yet another sales update! Things around here have been SUPER crazy! I just picked up another 6 week college course, (Sociology), and it is VERY busy. I have so many assignments to do and so little time to do them!

EBay has been doing WONDERFULLY the past few weeks! I shipped out 13 packages Tuesday morning! That's the most I've ever mailed out! I've had quite a few unpaid items though, but it's still looking like a great month!

Total sold so far: 30 items
Amount received: $508.54 before fees
Awaiting Payment: $8

Here's a recap of some of the best items that I've sold so far this month!

I sold this backpack ages ago to someone in Israel. Needless to say they contacted me saying they never received it, and within 2 or 3 months, it was back in my mailbox stamped "Invalid Address". Of course this was AFTER I refunded the buyer their full payment and shipping price. It resold finally for $27 +shipping.

This The SAK black crochet purse sold for $19 +shipping. I paid $1 for it at a church sale!

I picked up these size 11 BORN sandals at a yardsale for $2. They were pretty worn out, but with the larger size, I took the risk. They sold quickly for a best offer of $22.50 +shipping.

I've sold this Batman costume twice now.. I picked it up at the Goodwill Outlet, so it probably cost me less than $1. The first buyer purchased the costume, didn't pay, then sent me a message asking if the mask was included because she didn't see it in the picture... It's just like, really? If it's not in the picture, NO it's not included! So anyways, I cancelled that transaction and sold it again for $12 +shipping.

I picked up these Angels jeans for $1-$2 and they sold for $24.95 +shipping within a few months. I always pick up this brand!

My grandpa bought this Mirro aluminum pitcher at a yardsale for probably a dollar or less and it sold for $19.95 +shipping.

These ties were picked up at the Goodwill Outlet! They weighed around 3-4 pounds so I paid around $3 for them all. They sold for $43 +F/S.

Here's another pair of BORN maryjanes that I picked up for $2. They sold for a best offer of $20 +shipping.

These PINK stuffed dogs were picked up at the Goodwill Outlet as well. They sold for $11.50 +shipping.

This 100% cashmere Nordstrom scarf sold for a best offer of $28 +shipping. I picked it up at the Goodwill outlet for around $0.50.

I picked up these letter tiles at an antique mall for $4. They sold for a best offer of $20 +shipping.

This Thirty-One wallet sold for a best offer of $20 +shipping.

I picked up these rainbow converse for $3 at Goodwill. They sold for a best offer of $20 +shipping.

I sold this cross stitch kit at the beginning of the month. I accidentally shipped the wrong kit, so the buyer opened a return request. I contacted the buyer, reshipped the correct kit and have heard nothing from them. The case is still open.. I'm going to have to just wait it out I guess!

Finally! Another Goodwill Outlet find.. I've sold these shoes twice. The first time I sold them, the buyer very politely sent a return request because they were too small. I accepted the return, and sold the UGG slippers the second time for $45 +shipping.

That's a few of my best sales for the month! Tomorrow morning I will be leaving for Virginia to go on a week long thrifting vacation and to visit DC! I'm super excited! My parents will be in charge of my eBay store while I'm gone, so hopefully all things will go well with that!

Thanks for reading! I hope y'all are having a great month of sales!!

  1. Good luck thrift in the Virginia/DC area! We made the trip last Spring Break. The selection is amazing but prices are SUPER high.

    1. Yes there are! We've been to the Goodwill Outlet in Staunton twice already this week! I LOVE IT! I've loaded up on some AWESOME clothes to flip for almost nothing!

No, I do not have a restocking fee. I don't get many returns, so I just don't fool with it!

  3. Girl, you kill me... Haha. I need to catch up to you! It's going to be my only job soon though, so hopefully that helps me. ;)

By the way, I used your poshmark referral code a while back -- wanted to say thanks for that too -- since I signed up I've made three sales. :) Not much but it all helps!
