Sales Update 10/15-10/28

Well I'm back from my week long vacation! (Technically I've been back since Friday, but I'm just now getting back into the eBay routine!)

While I was staying in Virginia, lucky little me stumbled across a Goodwill Outlet in Staunton! YES! This made my vacation perfect. I spent $40 and got around 50 pieces of clothing to flip!

Then, the Saturday after I got home, I went to the Nashville Goodwill Outlet! I barely found anything. At all. The outlet was swarming with new people and it just was not a good day. So if you're one of those new faces at the Outlet buying all the good stuff, GO HOME and never come back! Lol Just kidding! ;)

Last night I did a serious clean out of my store and got rid of TONS of old stock (literally over 200 items!). I would recommend this to anyone! The quantity of items you have does not matter, it's the quality! So now I'm down from over 650 items to about 430. I've been busy!

So since the last time I posted I've had $562.30 in sales! I'm pretty happy with that number, but it's not where I need it to be. I WISH I was making around $1,000 A WEEK like my friend Nicole from The Portland Ebay Seller. If you've not checked her blog out, be sure you do! It's super motivating!

Here's a quick list of the top 5 items I've sold! (No pics this time folks! Just got a 1,000 free listing promo and I've got to get on that ASAP!)

  1. Any reason you got rid of old stock? You did sell a phone that was listed for a year.... :)

    1. It was sruff that had been listed over a year or stuff that was listed for $10 or less. I'm trying to get my profit margin up, so I think that'll help. Plus, we are having a yard sale next weekend, so I thought this would be a great time to clear out and make room for all my new items :) I've made LOTS of thrifting mistakes since day one, like listing shirts with no name brand for $8 and build a bear shoes for $4, so getting rid of those duds has cleared out space for all the new, better quality, higher price point items.

    2. Oh my gosh!!! A shoutout!! THANK YOU! I love you're blog! Answering the questions about how I list quickly, I'm ALWAYS listing. I take photos on my phone and any down time I have is filled with putting something up for sale. I feel like my phone is glued to my hands some days. I can't wait to see your haul!

  2. I was probably one of the newbies at the outlet store. My husband and I were in town for our anniversary and decided to hit up the outlet since we don't have one close to us. I love it! I am so bummed we don't have one near Atlanta :(
