Weekend Sales 11/7-11/8

Hey everyone! I'm back again with a quick sales update! I've sold 7 items (so far)! Saturday and Sunday still aren't over so hopefully some more will come in tonight! Woohoo!

I've got almost 400 items listed with 30 in the "unsolds" section. I am SO mad at eBay right now that I can't stand it. I didn't get this recent promotion for 10,000 free a month until February. It really would've motivated and helped me out! I have about 100+ items waiting to be listed and since my college semester ends in about 4 weeks, I'll be able to work hard and hopefully get them up! So the free listings definitely would've helped cut the costs.

Anyways! Here are my weekend numbers!
Items sold - 7
Amount before fees - $153.90

That's a GREAT weekend for me!

These Dansko clogs came from the Goodwill Outlet! They sold for $24.95+shipping.

This antique Tiara wine set sold for $29.50 +shipping.

Here's another pair of Danskos from the Outlet! Both pairs sold at the same time! This pair for $25+shipping. I always pick these up!

This Talbots Petites button up sold for a best offer of $22.50 +shipping. I was glad to see it go! I only paid $0.50 at a yardsale for it!

These shower curtain hooks sold for $9.95 +shipping. They're a nice item to pick up cheap if you have the time to sit on them a little while!

I took a best offer of $7 +shipping on these scrapbook pages. They came from the outlet and probably cost $0.05 or less!

These Skechers work boots sold for $35 +shipping while I was at church! I was so glad they sold! I got them for Derek, but he doesn't like the laces so to eBay they went! I paid $3 for them at a yard sale!

I hope y'all have had a good weekend of sales and I hope that you got the promotion, even though I didn't :(
Have a great week everyone!
Thanks for reading!

Sales Update 10/15-10/28

Well I'm back from my week long vacation! (Technically I've been back since Friday, but I'm just now getting back into the eBay routine!)

While I was staying in Virginia, lucky little me stumbled across a Goodwill Outlet in Staunton! YES! This made my vacation perfect. I spent $40 and got around 50 pieces of clothing to flip!

Then, the Saturday after I got home, I went to the Nashville Goodwill Outlet! I barely found anything. At all. The outlet was swarming with new people and it just was not a good day. So if you're one of those new faces at the Outlet buying all the good stuff, GO HOME and never come back! Lol Just kidding! ;)

Last night I did a serious clean out of my store and got rid of TONS of old stock (literally over 200 items!). I would recommend this to anyone! The quantity of items you have does not matter, it's the quality! So now I'm down from over 650 items to about 430. I've been busy!

So since the last time I posted I've had $562.30 in sales! I'm pretty happy with that number, but it's not where I need it to be. I WISH I was making around $1,000 A WEEK like my friend Nicole from The Portland Ebay Seller. If you've not checked her blog out, be sure you do! It's super motivating!

Here's a quick list of the top 5 items I've sold! (No pics this time folks! Just got a 1,000 free listing promo and I've got to get on that ASAP!)

Tova 2.5 fl oz perfume - Bought for $0.50 (on a whim! I didn't look it up!) Sold for $84.95 +Free shipping.

A Vintage style telephone - Bought for $2 around a year ago. Sold for a best offer of $35 +shipping.

Sony Micro cassette Recorder - Bought for maybe $0.10 at a bag sale. Sold for $29.95 +shipping.

Mens L.L. bean 100% wool sweater - Bought for $3. Sold for $29.95 +shipping.

Mens Polo by Ralph Lauren pajama pants - Bought for $1 last fall when I was in Michigan. Sold for $29.95 +free shipping.

Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you're having a very prosperous week! Now get back to listing!!

October Sales Update 10/1-10/14

Hello hello! I'm back with yet another sales update! Things around here have been SUPER crazy! I just picked up another 6 week college course, (Sociology), and it is VERY busy. I have so many assignments to do and so little time to do them!

EBay has been doing WONDERFULLY the past few weeks! I shipped out 13 packages Tuesday morning! That's the most I've ever mailed out! I've had quite a few unpaid items though, but it's still looking like a great month!

Total sold so far: 30 items
Amount received: $508.54 before fees
Awaiting Payment: $8

Here's a recap of some of the best items that I've sold so far this month!

I sold this backpack ages ago to someone in Israel. Needless to say they contacted me saying they never received it, and within 2 or 3 months, it was back in my mailbox stamped "Invalid Address". Of course this was AFTER I refunded the buyer their full payment and shipping price. It resold finally for $27 +shipping.

This The SAK black crochet purse sold for $19 +shipping. I paid $1 for it at a church sale!

I picked up these size 11 BORN sandals at a yardsale for $2. They were pretty worn out, but with the larger size, I took the risk. They sold quickly for a best offer of $22.50 +shipping.

I've sold this Batman costume twice now.. I picked it up at the Goodwill Outlet, so it probably cost me less than $1. The first buyer purchased the costume, didn't pay, then sent me a message asking if the mask was included because she didn't see it in the picture... It's just like, really? If it's not in the picture, NO it's not included! So anyways, I cancelled that transaction and sold it again for $12 +shipping.

I picked up these Angels jeans for $1-$2 and they sold for $24.95 +shipping within a few months. I always pick up this brand!

My grandpa bought this Mirro aluminum pitcher at a yardsale for probably a dollar or less and it sold for $19.95 +shipping.

These ties were picked up at the Goodwill Outlet! They weighed around 3-4 pounds so I paid around $3 for them all. They sold for $43 +F/S.

Here's another pair of BORN maryjanes that I picked up for $2. They sold for a best offer of $20 +shipping.

These PINK stuffed dogs were picked up at the Goodwill Outlet as well. They sold for $11.50 +shipping.

This 100% cashmere Nordstrom scarf sold for a best offer of $28 +shipping. I picked it up at the Goodwill outlet for around $0.50.

I picked up these letter tiles at an antique mall for $4. They sold for a best offer of $20 +shipping.

This Thirty-One wallet sold for a best offer of $20 +shipping.

I picked up these rainbow converse for $3 at Goodwill. They sold for a best offer of $20 +shipping.

I sold this cross stitch kit at the beginning of the month. I accidentally shipped the wrong kit, so the buyer opened a return request. I contacted the buyer, reshipped the correct kit and have heard nothing from them. The case is still open.. I'm going to have to just wait it out I guess!

Finally! Another Goodwill Outlet find.. I've sold these shoes twice. The first time I sold them, the buyer very politely sent a return request because they were too small. I accepted the return, and sold the UGG slippers the second time for $45 +shipping.

That's a few of my best sales for the month! Tomorrow morning I will be leaving for Virginia to go on a week long thrifting vacation and to visit DC! I'm super excited! My parents will be in charge of my eBay store while I'm gone, so hopefully all things will go well with that!

Thanks for reading! I hope y'all are having a great month of sales!!

September End of Month Tally 2015

Alright everyone! Who's ready to see my end of Septemeber tally?!?

Last month was pretty great with sales! I had cleared around what I made last month, until I calculated in all that I spend on new inventory.. So if you think my September numbers are low compared to last month, that is why! I spent about $300ish on new items and I had one $45 return, but since I spent all that money, October should be pretty good for profit if I'll just get some sales!

Okay so into the numbers!

Total number of sales: 67
Total amount before fees + shipping: $1,379.44
Shipping Costs: -$249.74
EBay and Paypal fees: -$164.45
Costs (New inventory & commission sales): -$239.07
Refunds: -$45
Store Subscription: -$15.95
Final Profit:  +$645.86

There's my numbers for the month! My goal for October is to double that number, since it is the beginning of the 4th quarter!!

Before I go, I thought I'd share an Adsense update since I've not done so in a while. I have made a total of $73.62 since partnering with Google and I'd like to thank you all for that! I know it isn't much, but it's better than nothing! I'm hoping to reach that $100 mark before Christmas so I can cash out and have a little extra spending money. :)

Thanks for reading! Please feel free to share your numbers in the comments below. I'd love to hear!

Goodwill Outlet Trip September 12, 2015

Hey everyone! I'm back with a somewhat different post. On the 12th, me, my mom, and my aunt went to the Goodwill Outlet! I spent $109 and got all kinds of GREAT stuff. Here's a couple pictures of our vehicle when we left.

We were loaded down! Some of my finds include a Nordstrom Cashmere scarf, TONS of Halloween costumes, Thirty-One purses and wallets, a Lucky Brand purse, Mens Harley Davidson boots, Lauren Ralph Lauren shirts, Miche purse covers and much much more!

Here's the craziest thing I found:

Yes! After I took pictures of this Thirty One wallet and began listing it, for some reason I looked in the inside pockets and was surprised to find FIFTEEN DOLLARS! Considering the weight of the wallet, I probably only paid $0.50! It's funny too because I didn't notice the cash when I took all the pictures of the wallet. Imagine how happy my buyer would have been if I had never checked all the pockets! This is a first for me! I will NOW be checking every wallet I come across at the Outlet! LOL!

If you're interested in seeing exactly what I bought, I am listing the haul now! So check out my newly listed items HERE to see all the awesome deals that I got! (The Chacos were the first things from the Outlet that I listed, so anything from the top down to the Chacos came from the Outlet!)Be sure you check back often, as I will be trying to get the whole haul (clothing excluded) listed before tonight!

Hope you all are having a GREAT week!!!

Hey everyone!
I'm just getting back from a week long beach vacation and I am ready to be back into my eBay routine! I'm so sorry I've not posted any this month! Sales have been pretty good (except for the week I was on vacation). I also went the Goodwill Outlet last Saturday and scored some GREAT deals! I spent $100 and should clear around $1,000 in profit if it all sells. (More on that later!)

Here's my September numbers!
